Common Questions
Do I need my own kayak and gear?
Yes, participants are expected to bring their own kayak and personal equipment. If you need help sourcing gear or arranging rental equipment, let us know when you get in touch and we can advise based on your location.
What level do I need to be?
We coach beginner and intermediate paddlers. If you can wet exit and are comfortable in flat or slow-moving water, you are ready for a session. We will match the river and the coaching to your current level.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We coach in most conditions, but safety always comes first. If river levels are dangerously high or conditions are genuinely unsafe, we will reschedule or move to a different river at no extra cost.
How do I book a session?
Use the contact form on this page or email peter@flowst8kayaking.com. Tell us your experience level, what you want to work on, and your preferred dates. We will get back to you within 48 hours with a plan.
Where are you based?
We coach across Austria and Germany. Our regular rivers are the Salza, Isar, and Inn. We travel to the river that best suits your goals and level.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely. We offer duo sessions for two paddlers and group clinics for three to six. Duo sessions are a great way to share the cost and push each other on the water.
